COMMUNITY OF THE HOLY TRANSFIGURATION     CHT

 

The Community started in 1982 with eight members who broke away from the Community of the Holy Name (Chita Che Zita Renoyera). The Community is stationed at St David’s Bonda Mission and it is an open community.  We assist the Church in the evangelistic work and other ministerial duties.  Some members are employed by the diocese as priests and some as Evangelists. We run an orphanage for up to thirty children aged 0-16.  We are also a self-reliant community through land tilling and poultry.  We look forward to opening branch houses in the near future.
