Missionaries of Divine Compassion

In response to the urgency of the Great Commission, the Franciscan Missionaries of Divine Compassion was established to provide a place for Anglican women to live out the principles of classic religious life in the context of active ministry, with a focus on prayer, community, and mission. The sisterhood strives to bring the Gospel to the people, the people to the sacraments, and the tender love of our Lord Jesus Christ to all. It upholds the traditional orthodox and catholic faith, which we received from Christ, as the Anglican Church has received the same.

It was Divine Compassion that caused our Lord to come and suffer for us,
and so it is our contact with Jesus that draws us out to share that tender love
with others. In the gentleness of the Holy Spirit, the sistersare
called to bind up the wounded and proclaim the life-giving Word of God, for the Lord said to St. Francis,
"Go and rebuild my Church!"
