1. We are to love one another as Christ loves us, accepting one another as Christ has created us, according to His will for each of us.
2. We are to renounce self in order to follow Christ. We shall follow the disciplines of the household and/or the authority placed over us as if Christ were guiding us Himself.
3. The learning of obedience is a difficult step in one's life. Each Sister shall uphold the others in this growth time. We are each to embrace suffering with endurance and without weakening, complaining or seeking escape, that we might grow stronger in our dependence in our Lord.
4. Morning Prayer, Evening Prayer and Compline will be recited daily from the 1979 Book of Common Prayer.
5. Silence shall be kept after Compline each day except Sunday and other Major Feast Days.
6. A meeting of Chapter (Professed Sisters) will be called together for discussion and when important decisions concerning the Order must be made.
7. Each Sister living in community shall be given duties to perform for the betterment of the household. We should each receive our duties joyfully and perform them to the honor of and in thanksgiving to our Lord.
8. If a Sister is having any problems she shall humbly and respectfully seek the Mother who shall determine the direction of assistance she shall receive.
9. Each Sister shall make confessions monthly. She shall search out her faults in detail both spiritually and in problems of community living. Those Sisters living outside of community shall also make monthly confessions to obtain penitence and spiritual direction from her confessor.
10. Each Sister living in community shall have a divided cell for sleeping. This is her quiet area within the convent to be in reflection or meditation. There shall be silence in the cells at all times.
11. A Sister who is late for Office (unless previous permission is granted) shall face the Community following the completion of the Office and ask forgiveness of her Sisters for interrupting the solemn time with our Lord.
12. As we go forth into the work world we are to always remember we are representing our Lord and we are to act accordingly. We are to live as an example to others at all times.
13. As Sisters under the Vow of Poverty we are to live a simple life and not to cling to earthly goods.
14. Each Sister is to respect the material goods the Lord has provided. Each sister is responsible for the care of the goods with which the Lord has blessed us.
Customary
1. We observe the praying of the Offices in accordance with the rubrics of the 1979 Book of Common Prayer.
2. Sisters are to be found at Mass as often as it is offered, preferably daily. Attendance is expected wherever they are located, not less than once a week.
3. Each Sister will follow the Church Calendar.
4. It is expected each Sister is to be found in habit at all Masses and when doing any liturgical function or carrying out her ministry. The habit should be worn at all times if possible, unless secular occupation or activities prohibit.
5. Each Sister is expected to attend parish functions if at all possible and to contribute her labor.
6. Sisters are called to serve God first, then the spiritual needs of those around them, which includes their priest and parish as well as all those whom the Lord places in their paths.
7. Sisters living outside the convent are expected to submit written Ember Reports. Sisters living in community are expected to verbally submit Ember Reports.
8. Sisters are required to use the gifts and talents the Lord has
given them to the best of their ability and to the Glory of God.
